Katie

Yesterday, my 1st grade teacher as well as a member of my extended family died from cancer.  She was an active person and lived a healthy life.  About a month ago, her children created an online group for people to send words of encouragement.  I never really knew what to say so I never said anything.  Ironically, yesterday morning I thought, 'I better write something too her before it's too late.'  Later that afternoon they announced her passing.  It's amazing how quickly a life can be taken.  She was surrounded by loved ones and will be greatly missed, but I'm certain she is no longer living in pain.  

I know it's been said a million times, but PLEASE let people know how you feel about them before it's too late.
